Bootstrap Tabs and Google Charts

Today I've encountered an interesting problem. It seems that when an object is hidden, it breaks the properties of width and height. Very annoying. Using Bootstrap I had a set of tabs. Each tab contained a graph of some sort. The chart on the initial tab was being displayed just fine. However for all the remining tabs (hidden ones) I got a squeezed version (400px x 200px;)... bad.

There was no easy solution to this problem as such. The best thing that I was able to find is the following:
